Spring Break - more details

I said I would write about more of what went on during Spring Break, so here is some more details. It's not always easy keeping a large group entertained. The whole point of Habitat Spring Break is helping others which is why we build. But the workdays usually end at three in the afternoon, so the amount of time we're not working is more than enough. My trip destination was in Beaumont, TX. When I hear Texas, I think of rodeo's and cowboy hats. Well, not exactly the reality of Beaumont. It's a pretty rural area and to get anywhere takes at least twenty minutes driving. Since we wanted to see as much as we could....well.... let's just say we spent a good amount of time in the car. But it didn't matter too much because we still had fun. Everyone takes something different from it which is so great about it. More to come....

Are there any habitat workdays coming up? I wasn't sure since there is only a month or so left of school.

Where do you do your work days? Are they all in Birdgeport?

There are still Saturday workdays through the end of the year. All workdays are in the Fairfield County area.
