The end is near

Well, my last year as an undergraduate at Sacred Heart is soon approaching. The other night, we elected the new Habitat executive board for next year. It was bitter sweet. The new board that was elected is awesome. A great mix of people won the election. But at the same time it almost felt like the President, Kaitlin, and I were losing something really important to us. Although we are not losing it, it's a little bit of separation anxiety. SHU Habitat was near extinction when Kaitlin and I arrived as freshman in 2004. We, along with a group of dedicated members through our friends, brought the club to where is now stands, which is very far from where we started. It's hard to let go, but it's time for someone else to take over. Although we still have until the end of the year to remain in charge; and don't think we're not going to take advantage of that time either.
